In the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Lim Tower 3 stands tall, a contemporary icon inspired by the classic Chicago School. With 27 floors and more than 37,000 square metres of office space, the building combines order and symmetry with an elegant, functional design, defined by a white stone facade and curtain wall that maximise natural light.
The architectural lighting project, designed by ASA Studio, emphasises the tower’s height and harmonious proportions. Stainless steel Ginko 3.0 projectors with 8° narrow optics are positioned along the building’s intermediate band, highlighting the articulation of its volumes and massing with controlled beams that limit upward light spill. Complementing them, anthracite Pivot 1.7 fixtures with 5° optics cast grazing light across the rest of the facade, calling attention to its textures and the regular geometry of the windows.
The light’s 3000K LED colour temperature warms the white stone with natural, soft tones, transforming the building into a nighttime landmark that converses with the urban skyline. Lim Tower 3 is brought alive by this elegant glow that enhances the architecture while minimising light spill, merging light, city and sky in a timeless balance.
