When light is no longer simply a functional element but an integral part of both architecture and landscape, the ability to control its flux and direction becomes essential. With this in mind, Luce&Light is expanding its family of Berica wall-mounted fixtures with the introduction of a new single-beam variant, available for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Berica stands out for its clean design and minimal thickness (from 30 mm) with built-in power supply and ON/OFF or DALI-2 control. This combination of compact design and advanced functionality makes it a discreet and versatile fixture.
The new single-beam variant can be installed with the light output directed either upwards or downwards to suit different design needs. Whether providing functional, controlled lighting for pathways and transition areas, or creating diffuse, indirect light that enhances ceilings and vaults, Berica answers every requirement with ease.
Focused light: more atmosphere, less spill
Outdoors, Berica OUT single-beam highlights walkways, colonnades and facades with controlled light output. The beam can be directed downwards to illuminate paths and transition areas, or upwards under ceilings such as arcades and canopies. The asymmetrical and elliptical optics help reduce light pollution and avoid spill.
The available colour temperatures – 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K – offer great design freedom and enable the light to be harmonized with the natural surroundings to create inviting ambiences where functionality and sustainability perfectly coexist.

Indoors, Berica IN single-beam provides maximum design flexibility, transforming light into a subtle decorative element. The beam can be aimed upwards at ceilings and vaults to gently illuminate the space with a soft, enveloping effect, or the fixture can be installed close to the ceiling and the beam aimed downwards, avoiding unwanted reflections and ensuring visual comfort.
The indoor range is available with CCTs of 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, offering solutions that range from a warm, intimate light to a neutral, task-oriented tone.
Berica thus becomes an ideal tool for defining spaces and emphasising volumes, surfaces and ambiences in settings ranging from hotel lobbies to residential living rooms and waiting areas – where light acts as a discreet companion.
Design and integration
The new single-beam variant retains the hallmarks of the Berica family: three lengths, with a choice of concave, convex or flat cover, and a selection of finishes ranging from standard colours – white, anthracite, corten, matt aluminium grey, antique white and antique bronze – to the possibility of customized RAL paint finishes. Additionally, there is the primer coated version, designed to integrate seamlessly with the wall it’s mounted on: the fixture’s surface can be finished in the same colour or wallpaper, allowing it to merge into the background and focusing attention on the light output alone. This enables Berica to become an unobtrusive, versatile tool, able to add value to any design context.
Performance and control
With four available optics – diffuse, asymmetric and two elliptical options – Berica single-beam offers designers a versatile lighting solution that naturally adapts to facades, entrances, corridors and passageways.
All versions are equipped with high colour rendering LEDs (CRI >90 for indoor applications, CRI >80 and >90 for outdoor applications), ensuring excellent colour fidelity and visual comfort.
The larger versions (360 mm and 640 mm indoors; 340 mm and 620 mm outdoors) include DALI-2 + PUSH control, in addition to ON/OFF control, for dynamic lighting management.
With Berica single-beam, the collection gains a new interpretation fully aligned with the Luce&Light philosophy: combining minimalist design, functionality and customization to offer designers a fixture that is both unobtrusive and high-performing, capable of conversing with architecture and landscape through the quality of its light.
Completing the Berica family is Berica S, a double-beam pendant for indoor use in retail, workplace, hospitality and residential settings, further extending the collection’s possibilities for coordinated lighting design.
