Luce&Light is expanding its Ginko family with two new oudoor projectors with integrated beam shapers, designed to offer maximum expressive freedom and precise control: Ginko 2.5 and Ginko 4.5.
The two new fixtures join the existing Ginko 3.5 projector, broadening the range to three sizes: a smaller version, ideal for cases where space is limited or lighting needs to be unobtrusive, and a more powerful version, perfect for projects requiring greater throw distances or the illumination of prominent architectural features without sacrificing beam precision.
Both models feature Light Shaper technology, an advanced optical system with multiple lenses that shapes light with pinpoint accuracy. The result is sharp light geometries – regular or irregular – that frame and enhance every detail.

Designing light with the Light Shaper
The strength of the Light Shaper system lies in its use of four independently adjustable internal beam shapers that precisely sculpt the light output into perfectly defined shapes. Circles, squares, rectangles or irregular quadrilaterals can be projected with sharp contours and perfect focus onto natural or architectural surfaces.
A technology traditionally associated with museum lighting – where the goal is to illuminate the object, not its surroundings – is applied here to outdoor and architectural lighting, enhancing facades, architectural features, green spaces and pathways without light spill or glare.
The light is used exactly where it is needed: no spill light, no scatter, just focused, effective illumination.

One of the possibilities offered by Light Shaper technology is the projection of graphic elements using customized gobos. Logos, lettering, symbols or decorative patterns can be cast onto walls and surfaces, turning light into a visual communication tool.
This solution expands the field of application of Ginko projectors, making them ideal for both temporary and permanent outdoor installations in many contexts, including hospitality, exhibition spaces, events, restaurants and corporate environments.

Ginko 2.5: Compact form and precise performance in any setting
With a compact, minimalist design, Ginko 2.5 is designed for every situation where an unobtrusive but high-performance light source is required. Whether illuminating architectural details or small paths and greenery, this projector maintains excellent optical quality in installations where space is limited, or the light source needs to be invisible.
Ginko 2.5 is available in two configurations:
- Beam shaper: to create and define geometric, regular or customized light shapes.
- Beam shaper + zoom: to adjust the beam opening and adapt the projection to different distances.
Ginko 4.5: Power and precision for high-impact projects
Ginko 4.5 is designed for installations where high output and beam definition need to go hand in hand. With a light output of up to 1800 lumens (3000K, 25W), it’s ideal for illuminating facades, monumental features or sweeping landscape views – all with the crisp definition that sets the Light Shaper technology apart.
Here, too, two configurations are available:
- Beam shaper
- Beam shaper + zoom, for complete control over beam width and focal length.

Maximum reliability and robustness
With an IP66 rating and IK08 resistance, the Ginko Light Shaper family is perfect for outdoor applications, even in harsh environmental conditions.
Reliability is guaranteed by the IPS (Intelligent Protection System) built into the fixtures’ cables. This Luce&Light patent protects against:
- water and moisture infiltration, even where connections are not perfect
- polarity reversal
- accidental hot plugging
- electrostatic discharges (ESD)
- surges in the electrical system
The IPS makes every installation safer and protects the product’s durability and performance over time, even in exposed or challenging environments.
Precision, power and design freedom
Ginko 2.5 and Ginko 4.5 are the natural evolution of the Ginko range. Modular, versatile, precise and powerful, they provide lighting designers with a high-tech tool that meets a wide variety of installation and creative needs.
The use of LEDs with CRI 90 ensures natural, faithful colour rendering, essential in both museum and architectural contexts.
From perfect shaping and the possibility of customizing the projected content, to mechanical resistance and reliability over time, every detail is designed to offer maximum design freedom coupled with maximum control.
