iF Design Award 2017 for Akro and Siri Track 2.0: L&L win award for innovative design

L&L has won the iF Product Design Award 2017, the prestigious international award for industrial design handed out every year by the jury of IF International Forum Design. 

The panel of independent designers and experts chose Akro and Siri Track 2.0 in the Lighting category.
These two LED-technology projectors both feature innovative design developed in house; cutting-edge technology; versatility of use and high energy efficiency.

The jury analysed more than 5,500 entries from almost 60 countries, submitted in the award’s seven disciplines: Product, Packaging, Communication, Service Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture and Professional Concepts. The iF design award night will take place on 10 March at BMW Welt in Munich.

 

The winning lighting fixtures: 

Akro // Projector for outdoor applicationsOffers lighting professionals a versatility previously associated only with indoor fixtures. It has a zoom lens to manually change the beam angle (13°–32°, 16°–42°), filters (dichroic, elliptical, diffuser and colour temperature converters), and anti-glare accessories. 

Siri Track 2.0 // Projector for indoor applications
Designed for exhibition and retail environments. The interchangeable optical filters that come with the product (11°, 18°, 29°, 55°, 24°x55°) allow you to easily change the type of light beam based on the object on display. With built-in manual dimming to adjust the light intensity.
